First Justice considered that making elections “without the restitution of the democratic order and without guarantees full of respect for popular will lacks legitimacy.” He affirmed that he continues to work for a “transition”
The First Justice party reaffirmed its support for Edmundo González’s decision not to participate in the legislative and regional elections, convened by the National Electoral Council (CNE) for April 27, 2025.
First Justice insisted that in the country “there will only be legitimate elections when the will of the Venezuelan people is respected, expressed bluntly in the presidential elections of last year.”
For this political organization, “any attempt to convene electoral processes without the restitution of the democratic order and without guarantees full of respect for popular will lacks legitimacy.”
This party said that it will not participate in “maneuvers designed to prolong the permanence in the power of a regime that has demonstrated its contempt for the sovereignty of the people” and insisted that it will continue working to achieve “a peaceful and democratic transition, based on justice, truth and respect for citizen will ».
First Justice calls on the international community, multilateral organizations and all democratic sectors of the country to remain firm in the defense of the legitimacy of the citizen vote and reject any attempt to subvert the decision of the Venezuelan people.
