PJ issued 36 months of preventive detention for police officers who demanded bribes during operations

The Judiciary issued 36 months of preventive detention for police officers who set up false operations to demand bribes from citizens. Provincial prosecutor Hugo Minaya maintained that police officers used false evidence to extort.

The measure was issued by anti-corruption judge César Franco, of the Superior Court of Justice of Lima Sur, against Commander Eugenio Vallejos Salazar, head of the Criminal Investigation Division (Depincri) of San Juan de Miraflores, agents Miguel Anthony Ocampo Saldamando , Alex Arturo Aguirre Vásquez and Erick Alexis Sánchez Ramos Chávez.

The Judiciary also issued 18 months of preventive detention for two retired police officers, Rainer Alejandro Quinto and Erika Honorio Vidal, investigated for the alleged crime of aggravated fraud, since they deceived their victims with the story of growing their investments under the pyramid scheme. , it was a total of 10 million soles stolen and at least 300 victims.
