The child Edgar Jesús Namuche Fernández, only 4 years old, who accidentally fell to a boiling chicha pot in the district of La Arena, in Piuraunfortunately died in the Hospital del Niño in San Borja, Lima, due to the serious complications of their wounds.
It was his relatives who confirmed the death of the child, whose health was complicated despite the fact that he underwent an operation by the galenos of the capital’s hospital.
Edgar suffered the accident a few days ago at the town center of Casagrande and was transferred to the Santa Rosa de Piura hospital, where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
But due to his gravity, his mother Rosa Fernández asked to cry, help for her child to be transferred to Lima, because her condition was very delicate.
After that, on April 5 he was taken by air to the National Institute of Health of the Child in San Borja, Lima. His mother mother accompanied him at all times and undertook a tireless struggle to save his life.
Even, since then, their relatives, residents and friends made chains of prayers for the recovery of the child, but their fragile body did not resist. His death has created great shock in his homeland in Casagrande of the La Arena district, where his remains will arrive in the next few hours.
“My grandson studied at Ricardo Palma school. He was a dancer, playful and very dear child,” said Audelia Rivas Fernández, grandmother of the deceased minor.
She added that the accident occurred in the Ricardo Palma de Casagrande sector and transferred him to the post and then took him to a clinic in Piura, but because he was asked for 10,000 soles of advance and they did not have the money because they were people with low economic resources, they transferred him to the Santa Rosa de Piura hospital and then to the capital.
