A group of extortionists threw an explosive to a liqueur sales, located on Peru Avenue with Argentina, in the October twenty -six district. As they point out, 15,000 soles would be demanding the owner of the premises so as not to attempt against his life or that of his family.

Extortion acts continue in Piura. This time, subjects threw an explosive, which was not detonated, in the premises “Korchos and Barriles Liquoría”, which alerted the owners and neighbors of the area, giving notice to the specialized personnel of the Explosive Deactivation Unit (UDEX) of the Police, who cordoned off the area to enter the place and remove the explosive. This place borders a pharmacy, which also closed, noticing the explosive.
The incident was recorded in the afternoon of Saturday afternoon, when the place was attending. Apparently, this would be extorted by criminals who would ask for 15,000 soles so as not to attempt against his life or that of his family.
In addition, it would be the third time that the owner of this place suffers from this type of attack, denouncing the fact in the police.
