The authorities supervised various pharmacies in the Sullana provinceto verify the illegal sale of the Misoprostol medicine, whose use and distribution without due authorization, constitutes a risk to the population.

The operation was carried out by the Crime Prevention Prosecutor’s Office in charge of the prosecutor Rosario Orrala, together with Personal Supervision of the Municipality of Sullana, Directorate of Sanitary Regulation and Supervision (Dirfis) and National Police of Peru.
In a pharmacy on José de Lama Avenue, they found an irregular sale of this medicine. While in another place in the popular urbanization Villa Peru-Canadá, they verified that they had in stock, but did not give them the information to verify the commercialization of this product, so DIRFIS gave them a period of 7 days to send the corresponding documentation.
