To celebrate the centenary of the Modern Art Week, which takes place in February, the Pinacoteca de São Paulo opened the exhibition Modernismo: Destaques do Acervo. The exhibition is on display until December 31.
The show comprises 134 works by artists linked to modernism. Paintings will be scattered throughout several rooms of the museum. Among the works is the painting Friends, by Di Cavalcanti, which was part of the historical exhibition that opened the Modern Art Week, at the Municipal Theater of São Paulo.
