The Minister of the Electoral Court José Garchitorena referred this Friday to the complaints made by the campaign commands of the Frente Amplio and the National Party about the circulation of ballots for the second round that presented irregular elements.

As a result, he suggested that those who are going to opt for one of the presidential formulas this Sunday “verify that it has all the elements established by the regulations”: the names and photos of the candidates and the date of the election (November 24, 2024).

However, since the organization is aware of this situation, Garchitorena stated that these ballots that have some detail in their design “could be validated if necessary.”
To avoid inconveniences, it is best to collect the ballot you are going to vote from your trusted committee.
