A large fire registered at the intersection of Junín and Circunvalación streets, in the district of Pichanaqui, left the property of a building where a warehouse and a mechanical workshop operated in ashes, seriously affecting the owner Maylin Rafael.
The fire started at 4:15 in the morning yesterday and lasted 35 minutes later, after a sacrificial effort by the neighbors and the municipality’s watchmen, who used everything they had at their disposal to control the fire.
Fortunately, one of the owner’s children noticed the accident and alerted his little brothers, saving everyone.
However, only that time was enough for the flames to consume everything inside, including some electric carts that the owner rents in the squares to earn a living.
Raúl Rafael, the woman’s father, questioned that the fire company was not able to reach the area to control the fire.
