PGU: These are the 4 bonuses that Senior Citizens can receive in August

The older adults In Chile, senior citizens have a series of economic benefits that allow them to improve their quality of life. These contributions, in the form of bonuses and subsidies, are delivered by the State and are aimed at those who meet certain requirements. During the month of August, senior citizens can access four important bonuses that provide them with additional financial support.

One of the most notable benefits is the Universal Guaranteed Pension (PGU), which is delivered monthly to people over 65 years of age. This bonus, run by the Social Security Institute (IPS), offers up to $214,296 to those who are not part of the richest 10% of the population and who meet certain residency and base pension requirements. To access the PGU, it is necessary to register in the ChileAtiende Integrated Solidarity Benefits System, where it will be evaluated whether the person qualifies to receive this contribution.
