During the week of June 12 to 16, the Government has arranged for the deployment of a Mobile Office of the Social Welfare Institute (IPS) in different communes of the Metropolitan Region. This initiative is part of the campaign “La PGU Get to your neighborhood” and its objective is to provide support in the application for the Universal Guaranteed Pension (PGU) to people aged 65 and over who meet the established requirements.
The communes Maipú, Lo Prado, Cerro Navia and Santiago will be visited by the IPS Mobile Office. In these locations, care will be provided and guidance will be provided to those interested in inquiring about the PGU, either to find out the necessary requirements or how to access it.
Those who meet the legal requirements may request the benefit in person at their commune if they wish. On Monday, June 12, the Mobile Office will be located at the Municipal Theater of Maipú, at Los Pajaritos N° 2045. Office hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The next day, Tuesday, June 13, it will be moved to the Neighborhood Council 18 in the Lo Prado commune, located at Dorsal No. 5864. Office hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Wednesday, June 14, the Mobile Office will be installed in the municipal offices of Cerro Navia, at the address Huelén No. 1977 for all types of inquiries, including the PGU.
The opening hours will be from 09:00 to 14:00. Finally, on Thursday, June 15, the Mobile Office will be at the José Manuel López Sports Center, located at Santa Elena No. 1675, in the commune from Santiago. Hours of operation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
