Santo Domingo.– The Minister of Public Health reported this Wednesday that the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved an extension of three additional months to Pfizer vaccines, as a way to give a better response to the vaccines available for adolescents older than 12 years and adults 18 years and older.
Dr. Daniel Rivera pointed out that with this vaccine there is a guarantee until October 31 so that more people can be inoculated without any problem with the corresponding doses.
“With the application of the Pfizer vaccine, there will be more time to continue vaccinating the citizenry and the government will not have to seek more economic resources to purchase it, that is, the batch of three million that it had expiration date on July 31 of this year, it can be used until October 31, guaranteed by the FDA.
