The Federal Police (PF) launched, on Wednesday (8), in joint action with the civil police of 16 states, the National Operation Integral Protection III. The goal is to identify suspects involved in crimes of sexual abuse of children and adolescents committed, especially through the internet.
In a statement, the corporation informed the simultaneous compliance of 182 search and seizure warrants and 11 pre -trial detention warrants across the country. Until the last update, 19 arrests had been registered in the act, two seizures of minors and a rescued victim.
617 federal police officers and 273 civil police officers from the following states, Alagoas, Amazonas, Bahia, Ceará, Espirito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Sao Paulo, besides the Federal District.
Integration
“The action reinforces the integration between federal and state police forces and demonstrates the joint commitment of defense of childhood and adolescence. Operation Integral Protection III continues previous editions, triggered in March and May 2025, highlighting the permanent work of the Federal Police in this combat front,” said the PF.
Data from the corporation indicate that, between January and September this year, more than 1,630 arrest warrants of fugitives convicted of sexual crimes were served.
“The Federal Police warns parents and guardians about the importance of monitoring and guiding the use of the internet by children and adolescents, talking openly about risks and teaching how to act on inappropriate contacts in virtual environments. Prevention and information are the most effective tools to ensure the safety and well-being of children and adolescents,” concluded the Federal Police.
