The Federal Police report on the investigation against Jair Bolsonaro and son Eduardo Bolsonaro points out that the former president moved $ 30.5 million in his accounts between March 2023 and February 2024.
The values are part of the Coaf Financial Intelligence Report, the Financial Activities Control Board, which was used by the PF in the investigation that indicated Bolsonaro and Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, from the São Paulo PL, in the case of United States tariff against Brazil.
The report does not mention illegalities regarding the origin of Bolsonaro’s funds, but reports about 50 communications of atypical movements involving the former president, and people linked to him, such as his son, Eduardo, and his wife, Michele Bolsonaro.
Of the 50 transactions, four reported suspicious operations in Bolsonaro accounts and four others in Eduardo’s accounts. Another 42 operations were done in third party accounts.
According to investigators, the movements “have evidence of possible money laundering or other illicit practices.”
Among the atypical operations, there is a transfer of $ 2 million to play Eduardo Bolsonaro’s stay in the United States. The transfer was made on May 13 this year and was already of public knowledge, confirmed by Bolsonaro himself.
The amount is part of the amount of R $ 19 million received from donations from supporters, via Pix, between 2023 and 2024.
Coaf registered another 3 million Bolsonaro account operation to Michele. According to the PF, the amount was omitted by the former president in the testimony provided during the investigations.
