This Wednesday morning (11), the Federal Police carried out Operation Guardians of Hope, in the city of São José dos Campos, in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
The goal is to combat crimes of child sexual exploitation committed over the internet.
A man was arrested for storing sexual abuse material against children and teenagers.

Files will be evaluated
Police officers seized all the contents of the suspect’s home and will forward the files for forensic evaluation.
The Cybercrime Suppression Group of the Federal Police Station in São José dos Campos identified, after investigations, that a criminal downloaded and shared around 200 files with illicit material between March 2022 and November 2023.
