This Thursday (18), three search and seizure warrants and precautionary measures are being carried out by the Federal Police (PF) and the Federal Revenue Service, simultaneously, at commercial and residential addresses located in Recife (PE). of the PF and the Revenue. 
The investigations began in April 2022, when a police investigation was launched to investigate those responsible for the ostensible marketing of electronic cigarettes and accessories, both on the internet and in person, in bars and restaurants in the capital of Pernambuco.
“The investigation seeks to identify others involved and confirm the modus operandi of the investigated groups, which purchase products prohibited abroad (Paraguay, China, etc.), and sell them through street vendors and in internet purchase and sale applications”, detailed the PF.
The investigated will answer, according to their participation and involvement, for the crime of smuggling, whose penalty can reach five years of imprisonment.
