A body was located, this Thursday (24), in Rio Piabanha, in the district of Posse, in Petrópolis. The work was carried out by the Fire Department. There is a possibility that it is one of the victims who disappeared in the flood of February 15th.
According to the Petrópolis city hall, the Civil Police’s technical and scientific team is working on the identification to confirm if it is one of the three victims still missing, one of which is an 8-year-old child who was on the bus that submerged in the waters.
The rain on Sunday (20), left seven fatal victims who have already been found by the Fire Department. With these, the municipality adds up to 241 deaths during the rains of February and March.
