Petroperu included its main headquarters, located in the financial center of the capital, in San Isidro, within the list of assets not necessary and not strategic for its operation that are currently evaluated with the technical assistance of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (Proinversión).
“This action aims to identify the most convenient management alternative from an economic and technical point of view, prioritizing criteria of asset efficiency, financial sustainability and alignment with the company’s corporate strategy,” the company said in a statement.
The evaluation is carried out within the framework of Proinversión’s powers to provide technical assistance to public entities, as well as the agreement signed between both institutions on July 18, 2025.
Said agreement contemplates the review of the information sent by Petroperú, the absolution of specialized queries and the preparation of a technical diagnosis that allows defining the most appropriate management modality for each property.
In accordance with the provisions of Emergency Decree No. 013-2024, the analysis will consider various alternatives, including sale, lease, transfer of use or other modalities that are viable according to the technical-economic evaluation.
With the incorporation of its main headquarters, Petroperú adds 60 assets in the evaluation process through Proinversión, as part of a comprehensive optimization process of its real estate portfolio.
