Petroperu appoints Beatriz Cristina Fung Quiñones as the new general manager of Petroperú to replace Jesús Fernando De la Torre, as decided in the last session of the company’s Board of Directors.
It is worth mentioning that this is the second time that Fung Quiñones has assumed the position. In 2020, she became the first woman in history to be appointed general manager of the state oil company, although she was appointed on an interim basis.

She is a certified public accountant and has a Master’s in Administration with a mention in Finance from ESAN University and her last position in this state-owned company was that of corporate manager of Planning, Management and Risks.
