Petrobras readjusted the price of diesel at R $ 0.22 per liter. From this Saturday (1), the fuel will be sold to the distributors, on average, for R $ 3.72.
Petrobras’s share of the end consumer price composition will be $ 3.20 per liter, an increase of $ 0.19, because fuel passed on to distributors must be mixed with 14% biodiesel to become diesel B sold at the posts.
According to the latest price survey of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Diesel B is being sold in the pumps for an average of R $ 6.17. This amount results from the sum of the portion of Petrobras plus the value of biodiesel, federal and state tax and distribution and resale costs. If Petrobras’s readjustment is fully passed on, the price of fuel to the consumer should rise to R $ 6.36.
It is the first price increase announced by Petrobras since October 2023. In December of the same year, the state -owned company had made its last readjustment, but to reduce prices. Even with the high announced now, the company said prices for distributors are still 17.1% lower than in December 2022.
