Petrobras launched today (1st) a platform to facilitate access to information on fuel prices. The state-owned company presents, in a didactic and visually easy way, information on the parts involved in the formation of the values of gasoline, diesel and cooking gas (LPG) and also on the formation of prices to the final consumer. The new site allows you to filter values by the national average or by states, considering state taxes and other local variables.
The company highlighted that for years it has been publicizing, in institutional page of the company, the amounts charged at its refineries and the average composition of the final price, which is a topic of great interest to the general public. “In the last six months, this was the most accessed information, with almost 1.5 million views,” he said in a note.
Petrobras also recalled that in November last year, it launched an advertising campaign broadcast on television, with the same intention of informing the final consumer about price formation. “The new virtual environment is yet another action by Petrobras to keep society informed about the sale prices of its products.”
The oil company added that it has regularly provided clarifications to regulatory authorities on defense of competition and the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary Powers. “Transparency and quality of the information provided are values practiced by Petrobras, with recognition from the external public”, he highlighted.
“Among the company’s acknowledgments, it is worth mentioning the outstanding award among the winners of the Transparency Trophy granted by the National Association of Finance, Administration and Accounting Executives (Anefac) to companies with the best quality and transparency in their financial statements. In addition, the Petrobras Transparency Portal received, last year, the maximum grade in the evaluation of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), meeting 100% of the transparency requirements defined by the body”, concluded the company, in a note.
