A new call for proposals aimed at startups, within the Petrobras Connections for Innovation Program, will be launched next Tuesday (24). Worth R$16 million, the national selection, in partnership with the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), brings challenges in the areas of energy transition and asset integrity.
At the end of the process, the winning companies can receive amounts of up to R$1 million for soft tech challenges, such as software development, or up to R$2 million for deep tech challenges, for the development of hardware and materials, for example.
The aim of the call is to enable the technological development of business models with startups and encourage the creation of innovative companies in the sector. In contact with the technical and business areas, small companies will be immersed in major industry challenges and in the co-creation of cutting-edge technology.
The call for proposals will be launched during Rio Oil & Gas (ROG) and applications for the call for proposals will be accepted until October 23.
