Colombian President Gustavo Petro, leftist, who has governed the South American nation since August 7, 2022, praised the way in which his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, took stock of his administration, and expressed his desire to also be able to end up in the middle of the town
when his term ends, as López Obrador is doing.
The Colombian Executive reproduced on its X account moments of the presentation of the sixth Report of the Mexican Executive, which took place on September 1 in the Zócalo of Mexico City, before a crowd that accompanied his speech and expressed its support for the ruler, who is less than a month away from handing over power to his successor, Claudia Sheinbaun.
Instead of leaving sad, I hope to go to Plaza Bolívar
The day I finally leave this cold palace, I hope that instead of leaving sad, like previous rulers, I will go to the Plaza de Bolívar and before a crowd that fills it, I will make my final assessment. I will end up in the middle of the people.
