The Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez, will assume presidential functions this weekend, during the trip of President Gustavo Petro to Brazil, for the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silvawho this Sunday takes office for the third time the presidency of that country.
President Petro will be one of the foreign heads of state that will accompany Lula.
According to decree 2630 of December 29, in which functions are delegated to Minister Ramírez, President Petro returns to Colombia on Monday, January 2.
At Lula’s inauguration, some 300,000 people are expected in the capital Brasilia to see the institutional possession up close.
