Petro reveals location of boat survivors "bombed" in the Pacific by the US

The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, revealed this Friday the alleged location of survivors of boats that were “bombed” in the Peacefulwhere the United States attacks alleged drug trafficking boats.

The Colombian president did not specify what event he was referring to. In a map image published in X he marked a point south of the Mexican state of Oaxaca and west of Costa Rica.

Petro assured that this “seems to be the exact area where the boatmen who jumped” from the bombed boats fell.

In addition, he maintains that “three people” died in the attack.

The United States assured on Wednesday that three “narco-terrorists” aboard a boat traveling in a “convoy” died during a military operation against drug trafficking.

Also that the “narcoterrorists Washington did not detail the location at that time.

Petro added that the Colombian naval force is “willing to collaborate” in locating the alleged survivors and called on “all governments in the area” to join.

The Colombian president is one of the biggest critics in the region of the United States military deployment in the Caribbean and the Pacific to supposedly attack drug trafficking.

He defends that the boatmen are victims of cocaine lords and that on several occasions they were not even transporting drugs.

At least 110 people have died in these types of attacks since September, according to figures provided by the United States.

Donald Trump recently announced the destruction of a dock used for drug trafficking in Venezuela.

Petro then claimed that he knew of an attack in the Venezuelan state of Maracaibo. However, these suspicions apparently come from speculation on social media after a fire at a chemical factory called Primazol.

The head of the company refuted Petro’s claims, which he often shares unverified news on his X account.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro avoided referring to the attack announced by Trump in an interview on Thursday.
