Petro outlined the 11 key achievements of his government in his end-of-year speech

The president Gustavo Petro spoke at the end of the year speechthe 11 achievements achieved in the first two years of his mandate at the head of the Casa de Nariño.

1. Fight against hunger and poverty

Petro highlighted that 2.5 million people escaped hunger and 1.6 million overcame monetary poverty in 2023. In addition, 1.1 million Colombians left extreme poverty, and the president expressed his optimism about doubling these figures in 2024.

2. Economic growth
