Petro approval falls to 34% and 57% believe their son is guilty

The management of President Gustavo Petro is not going through its best moment. At least not for the citizenry. The most recent Opinómetro study, carried out by Company SA for W Radio, showed that only 34% approve of the management of the head of state while 55% disapprove.

The data is a drop of two points with respect to the approval of the last measurement in which it was located at 36%.

However, The region where there is the greatest approval of the president is the Oriental, with 68%. While in the Pacific it is where the disapproval is lower with 34% and an approval of 58%.

The measurement included some current issues in the country. For example, the recent accusations for alleged corruption of Nicolás Petro, Deputy of the Atlantic and eldest son of the Head of State.

Faced with this question, 57% of respondents said they believe he is guilty while only 9% consider that they are innocent. In contrast, 30% do not know the case.

On the other hand, 55% of Colombians believe that you should not negotiate with drug traffickers. 36% do agree. This, regarding the government’s “total peace” policy in which some irregularities were denounced in which they would be negotiating with drug traffickers, who really must submit and for that a law is going to be filed in Congress.
