President Gustavo Petro appointed its ministers for the portfolios of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Transport and Foreign Trade.

Mary Gutierrez, who is a specialist in new information technologies, will be the ICT Minister.
As Petro reported, “will be tasked with taking technology infrastructure where it hasn’t gone before. We will work so that all children and young people enjoy the right to internet access“.
In the Ministry of Transport, the leader will be the lawyer William Reyes.

“He will be at the forefront of the policy to integrate all the country’s territories and revitalize rail and river transport to have a modern, efficient and democratic transport system.“, stressed President Petro.
Finally, for the Ministry of Foreign Trade was appointed German Umaña Mendoza, Economist from the National University, specialist in planning and industry and who served as director of the Colombo-Venezuelan Chamber.
