The President Gustavo Petro He gave an important announcement during his visit to the city of Bucaramanga in which he referred to an increase in the minimum wage for the month of December. What were the arguments of this government determination?
Through a statement that can be visualized on the official website of the presidency, Petro said that currently the unemployment table managed to be the lowest of the 21st century and therefore stressed that all people had a wrong conviction considering that said indicator was not possible to increase it. Therefore, he confirmed that this action will be carried out for December 31.
This novelty was made within the framework of the explanation of the reforms that will be made to the Social Program, Colombia Mayor.
“The labor reform is that there will be a better salary, there is already; that this December 31 we will say goodbye to the last year with a good decree of elevation of the minimum wage, to demonstrate that they said lies on television. The elegant and tie lord, chief of guild, large businessman, who does not work or know what entrepreneurs are, who do work, said that the more we climb the salary, unemployment was going to grow more, and that the greatest unemployment was going to make poverty grow more, ”he said.

Along the same lines, the Head of State recalled that during his management the amount related to the remuneration of the workers could increase above inflation.
“That they say it in the press, says the vallenato, say it: if it is half of the rate that Uribe put, if it is lower than the one that Santos put.
