Through decree number 0120 of January 27, 2023President Gustavo Petro accepted the resignation of Belizza Janet Ruíz Mendoza, who was the Vice Minister of Energy.

Ruiz had submitted his application for resignation in charge a couple of weeks ago.
According to the decreeCristian Andres Diaz Duran He was appointed in that Vice Minister as manager. The official also works as Technical Director in the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

Of course, the decree clarifies that Díaz Durán will continue to lead his work current while the holder of the position is appointed and installed.
