The National Association of Journalists (ANP) published a report in which they conclude and denounce that, since Dina Boluarte assumed the presidency on December 7, 2022, a total of 740 attacks have been recorded on journalists and media outlets, as well as men and women who practice journalism. According to the registration of the ANP Human Rights Officeall this confrontation took place during the first 731 days of the president’s administration Boluarte Zegarra.
In this report, it is detailed that those who suffered the most during the president’s administration were the digital media due to the high rate of threats and harassment during these two years of Government. According to the record of the Human Rights Office of the National Association of Journalists (ANP)among the main victims of attacks on the press – journalists, media – are digital and television, radio and written media. Likewise, men were more affected than women, with 387 and 161 attacks, respectively.
