Stage 1: Provisioning
In this stage of fishing, all the resources such as supplies and equipment are collected, material for feeding the crew for 7 days of fishing.
Stage 2: Set sail to the fishing area
At this stage, it is necessary to identify where the greatest fishing potential is, with the help of oceanographic conditions such as temperature, currents, climate, among others. In addition, chilled water is supplied in the hold at a temperature of zero or minus one degree to maintain the quality of the fish obtained.
Stage 3: Search
In this stage, the area is reviewed, to verify the main fishing such as anchovy, mackerel and tuna through specialized sonar, radar and echo sounder equipment.
Stage 4: Capture
This stage is divided into 4 processes:
- Creek: Enclose the catch in the net.
- Gareteo: network closure
- Toned: Pick up from the net to the boat
- Packing: fishing wash to the hold
Stage 5: Return to port
This stage consists of returning to the port, the boat refrigerates the catch to preserve the quality and so that it arrives in the best conditions.
Stage 6: Download
In the last stage, the catch is delivered to the plant so that the availability of the pools is coordinated.
