The Executive Director of the Institute for Foreign Trade Research and Development (IDEXCAM) of the CCL, Carlos Posada, said that these projections put Peru as one of the main actors of foreign trade.
“These projections reflect not only the ability of Peru to consolidate as a key actor in regional foreign trade, but also the importance of a long -term strategy that combines diversification, innovation and institutional solidity. The challenge is to capitalize on the opportunities offered by international markets and successfully face external and internal risks,” he said.
The guild estimated that mining shipments will have an advance of 15.89%, explained by the dynamism of copper, gold and the square, in a context of high global demand associated with the energy transition.
In non -traditional agriculture an increase of 8.62%is expected, with good results in cocoa, avocado, grapes, blueberries and a solid presence of vegetables such as artichokes and asparagus. In the case of traditional agriculture, they will highlight the shipments of coffee, fishing, chemical, and textile and clothing.

For its part, the Association of Exporters (ADEX) revealed that in June more than 1.4 million annualized jobs linked to exports were registered.
The sectors that highlighted were agribusiness (640.00), traditional mining (383,000) and primary agriculture (175,000), which presented variations of 0.6%, 1.3%and 5.2%, respectively.
