Peruvian actor Diego Bertie dies after falling from the 14th floor of a building

The actor and singer Diego Bertie, who participated in popular Peruvian soap operas, such as In the background there is a place and Back to the neighborhood, died in Lima after falling from the 14th floor of a building.

Bertie was also the protagonist of the Bolivian films El Atraco (2004) and Los Andes do not believe in God (2007).

In the early hours of this Friday, sources from the Fire Department reported that Bertie, 54, was transferred after the incidentto Casimiro Ulloa Hospital, with a guarded prognosis.

However, shortly after they confirmed the shocking news of his death, which mourns the world of acting in Latin America.

According to Fire reports, Bertie had been found in the parking lot, so they consider that it would have fallen from the 14th floor of the building where he lived in the district of Miraflores in Lima.

After hearing the news, from the Ministry of Culture of Peru they lamented the death of the artist.

“We deeply regret the death of the actor and singer Diego Bertie, recognized for his work in film, television and theater. From the Ministry of Culture we express our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends,” the ministry published on its Twitter account.

A heartfelt message on Twitter left another Peruvian actor, Christian Meier.

“As a boy I wanted to be an actor for you. I am an actor for you. I always loved you, I always admired you. Too soon Diego”, published meier in his verified account, a message that closed with the phrase “With you there is no end, there is only a long way to go…”, part of the lyrics of the song “How difficult it is to love”, written by Bertie.

Diego Felipe Bertie Brignardelloas his full name, was born in Lima on November 2, 1967 and participated in several films and series in his country.
