The German ambassador to Peru, Sabine Bloch, officially inaugurated the participation of her country as an allied country in Perumin 37 – Extemin, highlighting the strengthening of bilateral relations and the commitment of German companies with the development of innovative, sustainable and productive mining in Peru.
“The presence of Germany as an allied country at the most important mining fair in Latin America is for us a sign of the extremely positive and dynamic moment that Peru and Germany are living in their bilateral relations,” said the ambassador.
Bloch stressed that this edition of the Fair congregates almost 60 German companies, of which 44 participate in the German pavilion, a space of more than 500 m² dedicated to presenting vanguard technological solutions for a safer, more efficient and socially responsible mining.
“I extend a cordial invitation to buyers, distributors and new potential partners to approach the German pavilion to learn about the offer we are presenting, participate in business wheels and find new commercial partners,” he added.
Investment and trust
The diplomat also highlighted that this 2025 marks a milestone in economic cooperation between the two countries, mentioning the inauguration of the new Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima – opened by the German company Fraport AG with an investment of more than US $ 1.5 billion – as a long -term investment and confidence symbol.
Finally, Bloch highlighted the importance of the space called the German Country Forum Germany, which will have 15 German experts and speakers will share global experiences and trends in innovation, sustainability and digitalization for the mining of the future.
