The national team and New Zealand will meet again. This Sunday, June 5, the red and white team will face the Oceanic team as part of the preparation for the playoff to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The match is scheduled for 10:30 am (Peruvian time), and will be played at the Power Stadium in the city of Barcelona, in Spain. Peru seeks to arrive in the best possible shape for the match against the United Arab Emirates or Australia, and ensure its place in the World Cup.
But there is another game, away from the grass, and it is played in the transfer market. Between both squads, the most valued is the white and red. The Peruvian team is valued at 61.20 million euros, according to Transfermarkt. Meanwhile, the New Zealand team costs 22.9 million euros.
National selection
In the national team, the most valuable player is the holding midfielder Renato Tapia, whose price amounts to 10 million euros, according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt.
In second place is Pedro Aquino, who plays for América de México; and in third is Luis Abram, central defender who plays for Cruz Azul. Both are worth 6 million euros, respectively.
André Carrillo is the fourth most valuable player for the red and white team. The Al-Hilal winger from Saudi Arabia is valued at 5 million euros. Meanwhile, in fifth place is the national team’s scorer, Gianluca Lapadula, who plays for the Italian Benevento and his pass is valued at 4 million euros.
New Zealand
In the case of the New Zealand team, its most valuable player is Newcastle striker Chris Wood, valued at 10 million euros.
In second place is Empoli’s left-back Liberato Cacace, who is worth 2.5 million euros. In the third box is midfielder Joe Bell, from Denmark’s Brondy, who is valued at 1.2 million euros.
A little further down we find Bill Tuiloma, central defender for the American Portland Timbers, with a pass valued at 1 million euros, and in fifth place is forward Kosta Barbarouses, who costs 750,000 euros, and plays for Australian Sydney FC.
