Peru tied (1-1) at home with Colombia and remains winless in the Qualifiers

Peru and Colombia tied 1-1 in an intense match for the seventh date of the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, played this Friday at the National Stadium in Lima.

The Peruvian team opened the scoring with a goal from defender Alexander Callens at 68 minutes, but Colombia tied the score with a goal from forward Luis Díaz, at 82.

With this result, Peru remains at the bottom of the standings with 3 points, while Colombia remained in third place now with 13 points.

On the eighth date scheduled for this Tuesday, Peru will visit Ecuador in Quito and Colombia will host Argentina in Barranquilla.
