At the close of registration National Election Jury (JNE), the application of Fernando Orihuela to the Regional Government of Junín for the period 2023-2026 was confirmed.
Currently licensed, Orihuela was the one who succeeded Vladimir Cerrón in the position in 2019, after being sentenced for corruption.
The Prosecutor’s Office sought to arrest him along with Cerrón a few days ago due to the investigation of an irregular shelterbut a judge ruled in his favor.
He leads Graciela Alzamora Torres as deputy governor, who appears as a provider of the State (such as the Regional Government of Junín) for more than S / 42 thousand, between 2017 and 2022.
The Provincial Municipality of Huancayo, affected by the Los Tiranos del Centro case, is being nominated by Luis de la Cruz, the outgoing mayor of Chilca.
