“The pandemic accelerated, in general, the automation processes in all areas. Studying an IT career undoubtedly brings many benefits. In addition, thanks to the trend of the remote work modality, in the IT sector, the only barrier to working in any Latin American country or technological giants, is only the language”, refers Sebastián Espinosa, executive director of Latin America at Coding Dojo.

“In the United States, more than 70% of employers are having difficulties finding the talent they need. Thus, currently and in the future, countries such as the US, the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland), Australia and Canada, will be forced to look for IT professionals in other countries under the remote or face-to-face modality.adds Espinosa.

Currently, to fill this gap, there are alternatives to universities, which train professionals in a short time, through intensive programs called bootcampssuch as Coding Dojo, a programming academy with a presence in more than 25 countries globally and which, in Latin America, has 98% of graduate students employed in IT fields.

“The salaries of our graduates who are just beginning a career in the technological world start at USD 1,300, and those who already have a maximum of two years of experience have been receiving up to USD 2,500”, Espinosa ends.
