The Government of Peru expresses its condemnation and deep concern about the dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East that seriously affects international peace and security, given the recent air attacks by Israel on Iran.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Peru makes a new call to the actors in conflict, calling for the need to impose an immediate ceasefire and the beginning of a process of dialogue and negotiation that avoids the unleashing of unpredictable consequences for the world.
“The Embassy of Peru in Türkiye is attentive to assist our compatriots residing in the Islamic Republic of Iranlike the other Peruvian diplomatic missions in the region,” the statement reads.
Israel bombed missile manufacturing facilities in Iran, which provoked condemnations from several countries in the region and calls for moderation from the Western side.
