The Association of Tax Officials (AFI) reported this Thursday through a statement that the telephone service of the General Tax Directorate (DGI) collapsed at the beginning of the personal income tax campaign.
For the workers, this happens due to lack of foresight and inadequate management policies by the management, which led to the administration launching the personal income tax campaign without the workers who will fulfill this task have yet entered.
The AFI has denounced the emptying of services. “The DGI management unilaterally closed the offices of several locations in the interior, such as Santa Lucia, Castillos, Dolores,” the statement said.
The DGI enabled from this Thursday affidavit campaign Personal Income Tax (IRPF) and Social Security Assistance Tax (IASS).
The office had announced that if taxpayers had questions about completing the online form of the IRPF or IASS, it was not necessary for them to go to the offices since they could consult by telephone at 1344 option 4, on business days during extended hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Assistance was also enabled as of this Thursday.
