General (D) Elvis Rafael Durán Lobo, new commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone #34 Cojedes (Zodi), activated the citizen security device, deploying 425 officials from all security and prevention organizations to continue providing greater security to the town.
Likewise, the operation has 55 patrol vehicles, four ambulances, 3 tankers and 355 motorcycles. In addition, the 48 Peace Quadrants are active, distributed in 32 urban, 8 rural, 6 tourist and 2 roads.
The commander reported that “this type of deployment will be carried out every day, including weekends, because our mission, our primary function, is to provide security and peace to our people and guarantee peace and good customs in all aspects in Cojedes.”
