The Permanent Commission of the Congress of the Republic ratified the report of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations that recommends filing the complaint against Manuel Merino and former ministers Ántero Flores Aráoz and Gastón Rodríguez for the death of Inti and Bryan.
With 22 votes in favor, 6 against and one abstention, the commission supported, this Friday, July 1, the report issued by the group led by Alejandro Cavero in which it shields the defendants from the events that occurred on November 14, 2020.
In this way, the former de facto president and his former officials will not be investigated in the Congress for the presumed crimes of homicide, as well as the infraction for serious injuries and minor injuries to the detriment of 79 people.
The shield to Merino He was supported by some congressmen from Peru Libre such as Waldemar Cerrón and Guido Bellido, in addition to legislators from Fuerza Popular, Avanza País, Popular Renewal, Popular Action, and Podemos Peru.

Permanent Commission grants a term of 15 days for final report against Dina Boluarte
The Permanent Commission of the Republic granted 15 days to the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations to present the final report of the constitutional complaint against the Minister of Development and Social Inclusion and Vice President, Dina Boluarte. The initiative was approved this Friday, July 1, with 22 votes in favor and zero abstentions.
The measure has been promoted because Boluarte served as president of the Apurímac Departmental Club when she was already Minister of State and occupied the vice presidency of the Republic.
