The Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication met this Wednesday at the administrative headquarters of the National Assembly, located in the center of the capital city, with the aim of continuing to evaluate the proposals of the population in legislative matters.
The deputy and vice-president of the Commission, María Carolina Chávez, informed that, during the meeting, they discussed the Social Comptrollership Law for the empowerment of citizens in this area, “today we were discussing the deployment for the consultation of the laws of the popular power, specifically, the social control law, was an interesting debate, we refined the methods so that the consultation is effective, that the proposals that arise from popular power are real and have the necessary force so that this law empowers them in As for the comptroller”.
He added that, at the meeting of the Permanent Commission of Popular Power and Communication, they also laid the foundations for the upcoming deployments.
Likewise, he pointed out that they were deployed in two electoral circuits of the Nueva Esparta state, where several municipalities met, whose proposals were focused on the economic area and on the measures used for the dissemination of the laws.
“The first concern is the economic area, the laws that can be made in this sense and another of the concerns that they expressed to us in the assemblies, was related to the effective dissemination of the laws and all the work that has been carried out since the National Assembly”.
In this sense, the vice president of the Commission explained that the participants in the Assembly raised the use of the different digital platforms to guarantee greater access to the population in the realization of their proposals.
In this regard, he added that the page “People Legislator” is available for proposals that will be part of the laws that are being worked on in the National Assembly, “social networks are a useful tool for this type of consultation, however, it is not we must abandon any other means,” he stressed.
