Samples of brotherhood and the demand for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed more than six decades ago on the Caribbean nation by the United States, were heard on this day of homage to the Apostle, multiplied in various parts of the world.
During the ceremony, the charge d’affaires of the Cuban embassy, Dagmara Calzada, highlighted the permanent legacy of Martí, a guide for the centennial generation to complete the ideal of the Revolution led by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in 1959.
