A vehicle accident occurred on the well-known Amaya curve, at the entrance to the Perené district, when a blue and white Mazda car, with license plate D5X-531, left the road for reasons that are still the subject of investigation.

As a result of the accident, two people suffered minor injuries. Serenazgo personnel arrived at the scene, providing first aid and coordinating support with the National Police of Peru. Subsequently, the injured were taken to the Perené Health Center aboard a police patrol car.

Fortunately, no serious casualties or major damage to third parties was reported. The authorities reiterated the call to drivers to travel with caution, reduce speed and take extreme precautions when traveling through this section, considered high risk due to the frequency of accidents.
