The Inegi announced today the perception of insecurity as of last September in the main cities of the country. In the case of Hermosillo, the perception of insecurity fell in September to 55.4%, its lowest level in 6 years and since the National Urban Public Security Survey (ENSU) was carried out.
This result means that 55 out of every 100 Hermosillenses still feel insecure, however this figure is much less than the 82 out of 100 in which the perception of insecurity reached in June 2017.
In this way, so far this triennium, the perception of insecurity in the state capital fell by 11.4 percentage points, which reaffirms Hermosillo as the city of Sonora where the perception of insecurity in Sonora has decreased the most, since in Nogales fell 9.6 points in the same period and in Ciudad Obregón it fell only 2.4 points.
