People of the world reject the US military aggression against Venezuela

After the United States carried out a series of bombings against Venezuelan territory in the early hours of this Saturday and kidnapped President Nicolás Maduro Moros, along with his wife, Cilia Flores, social organizations and citizens of different countries repudiated the aggression described as “an act of war.”

Through a publication on his Telegram channel, Foreign Minister Yván Gil published an audiovisual where he expresses that “from the bowels of the imperialist monster, powerful images of solidarity emerge from the American people, who raise their voices in defense of the sovereignty of Venezuela and our right to a future of self-determination, progress and unity. “We refuse to be considered a backyard for ecocidal extractivism, and we claim our right to build our own destiny, free of external impositions.”

In Chile, social movements and political leaders rejected the attack and warned about the seriousness of an action that, they stated, violates international law and threatens regional stability.
