The Venezuelans who enlisted in the Bolivarian militia during the first days of the call, mobilize this Friday throughout the country of the first activation cycle of all the enlisted of the Bolivarian militia at the national level, as well as those reserves at all levels, given the threats and interference actions of the United States that threaten the sovereignty and national peace.
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Thursday the activation of communal units of Militia for the Integral Defense of the Fatherland in the 5,336 communal communes and circuits of the country, in compliance with the provisions of the Constitutional Law of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
It should be noted that each communal unit will have a set of popular comprehensive defense bases (BPDI). In total, 15,751 bases will be formed that will coincide territorially with the 15,751 electoral centers of Venezuela, in order to ensure the civic-military articulation in each space of the nation.
From the Petare parish of the Sucre municipality, the governor of the state Miranda, Elio Serrano, highlighted the participation of the entity’s communities during the activation of the communal units of Militia (UCM), after the instruction of President Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, this Thursday.
“We have this expression that shows what our people are doing in defense of the nation. We value the fact that our people has turned to the streets with the idea of defending peace,” Serrano said.
He added that it is not about “a matter of ideologies, but a matter of defense of the homeland, so the call made by our president in the two days that we recently had with a feeling of unity among all social sectors” of the country.
“Today is an activation day of all the communal units of Militia. We have organized these micromarches throughout the state in each of the communal circuits,” said the Chief of the Antonio José de Sucre plan, Pedro Infante, who explained that with this first cycle the communal units of Militia are activated in this first cycle, which add the popular units of comprehensive defense, Bases of Comprehensive Defense, Bases of Comprehensive Defense, Bases Popular organized and communal advice, before the aggressions of the United States.
He stressed that participation shows the “people organized in communes in defense of the country as a moral victory, given any aggression of American imperialism.”
For his part, the Vice President of Organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Infante, who also participated in the march from Petare, said that war is not wanted, but that it is necessary to defend peace.
“We do not aspire or want war, but we are willing to defend the peace that the people have today,” he emphasized.
Before the aggressions of the United States against Venezuela and Latin America, Infante recalled that “the president has told us: Faced with the maximum pressure, maximum preparation of the people! Today a day of organization and mobilization of our forces for the defense of the country, for the defense of sovereignty, for the defense of peace ».
He highlighted the union of the Venezuelan nation against threats.
“Popular-military fusion is the clear concept for the defense of the homeland. Mobilized people, people, conscious, people, organized and prepared people,” he added.
Infante also highlighted the transition “of the non -armed struggle to the armed struggle”, so that the Venezuelan people develop all the capabilities to guarantee the peace of the Republic.
