The inhabitants of the city of Caracas enjoyed this Friday The Guataque Route, as part of the festivities that take place to celebrate the anniversary number 455 of the foundation of the capital city.
Through its account on the social network Twitter, the mayoress from Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, highlighted that, during the day, musical presentations were carried out, as well as a gastronomic display, by the entrepreneurs.
«The Guateque Route filled the people of Caracas with happiness this Friday night, with music, gastronomy, culture and security. La Caracas Feliz is active on its 455th anniversary,” Meléndez wrote on the social network.
The gastronomic route, detailed Meléndez, was carried out in the recovered spaces of the Historic Center of Caracas.
The people of Caracas were able to enjoy “in a healthy and cordial environment.”
“This is how we continue, promoting culture, gastronomy, the productive economy and enjoyment in Caracas. Excellent Guateque Route! More are coming,” stressed the mayor of Caracas.
It should be remembered that, on the Guateque Route, it was deployed in different areas of Caracas, where different activities were carried out.
In the Esquinas Principal de Torre, the presentation of DJ Mel One, Los Hijos del Son y la Rumba, and harpist Jhonny Jiménez took place.
In the corner of Gradillas, meanwhile, DJ’s Yeko and Chermy were present; in the Esquina Torre the main Karaoke; in San Jacinto, DJ Yenfri Salazar and DJ Junior Oriak.
The Guateque Route was activated from five in the afternoon until 11:00 at night.
For his part, the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández, described the activity as a complete success.
«A complete success #LaRutaDelGuateque that took over the spaces of the historic center of Caracas, on Friday night; with music and rumba for the people of Caracas who enjoyed this new proposal for Caracas Feliz », he wrote on his account on the social network Twitter.
