The decision was issued by the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation, headed by Supreme Judge Juan Carlos Checkley Soria.
Likewise, the highest judicial body considered that “the danger of flight of the accused persists and that there are no new elements of conviction that justify the cessation of the measure, initially imposed for 18 months and then extended for the same period.”
The Judiciary has already supported, in previous resolutions, the reasons why it considers that there is a risk of flight. “The content of the record […] It is not decisive.
